All around you are the finest masterpieces in history… a collection of man’s best efforts to make order, beauty and meaning out of everyday chaos. Remember the sharpened senses, the feeling of joyful discovery and awe inspired by being surrounded with all that art? Life, beauty, meaning!
Or maybe you don’t like museums? Maybe you felt it in the middle of a forest or sitting by the ocean? It doesn’t matter. It’s the same thing. The point is we all look for this feeling… we need it.
The Streetwalker gallery is a small attempt to awaken a bit of this perception right here and right now. Outside your door, down the street in front of your local shop… humor, significance, poetry (and yes even art) are everywhere around us. All we need to do is open our eyes and look. The Streetwalker gallery is just a simple trick to help us with that first step.
